I live in North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. My artwork is strongly influenced by my background as a naturalist and gardener. I use photography in all areas of my work and have exhibited as a fine art black and white photographer before coming to painting. I paint regularly with a group of local painters and gain great stimulus and support from working with them.
Textiles particularly interest me. My current textile project is the construction of large needlepoint wall hangings derived from small collages made out of torn up scraps of pictures from magazines
