Painting
My paintings are based on a lifetime's fascination with organic forms, colour, gardening and the mystery of the processes of transformation. I am particulary interested in objects in my immediate surroundings that can be so transparent that they pass beneath the radar of our everyday existence. They lie between the familiar and the never-seen.
At present I am working with mixed media on board using collage, acrylic paints and oil pastel. I am very excited to be exploring texture and make much use of a variety of papers to include in collage.
